Platies and swordtails can remain pregnant for months after being with the boys so i'm sure the baby you saw is one of those.
first off you are going to have to seperate the baby (there are probably more up to twenty or thirty is possible) . pet shops have hanging or floating "baby saver" nets/traps for just this purpose. They are in the same tank so the water is the same temp and its still filtered. so get one of these. also since your at the shop get some special baby food it is designed for the nutrient needs of a baby (a very fine powder) *tip* feed small amounts often - baby stomachs are small but they empty often (5-6 times a day)
a little piece of plant in the baby saver to make them feel safe and protected helps too. good luck!

the first thing to know, is female liverbearers(platyies, guppies, mollies, swordtails, and a few other species) can store sperm. So when in a single sex environemnt they can reproduce a number of times.

Also with female livebearers, they repdocue on a schule. About every 28-35days. So when this time comes around it would be best to move the mother to a special tank or ina breeding trap.

The best thing to do, as baby livebearers are more hardy than other babies, is not treat them any different than the big fish. BUT i would remove them from your main tank and put them in a net breeding trap or a different grow out tank.

AS far as feedings go, i love to use hiarki first bites. My baby livebearers and bettas love it.

Make sure that their is a filter in the baby tank, i use huge sponge filters. Also live plants would be good.
They can store sperm, Put the abbies in a breeder net or breeding trap and feed them fry food,
LIVE PLANTS, or fake ones, there is also special fake plants taht sit on the bottom of the tank, you will see more babies, and you will even see them live longer, really really dense live plants like cabomba and frill and hornwort are thick adn the fish will hide in it, its a really good thing to have in your tank if babies show up, i guarantee they will live longer, everyone in the tank is eating the babies
dude, start by taking some English lessons.
