How often can I feed this gel food to my goldfish?

Question:I recently made gel food for my fish using this recipe:

1/4 cup canned salmon
1/4 cup frozen peas
1/4 cup baby carrots
1 tablespoon freeze dried bloodworms
1 packet unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup water

I have two 3.5 inch fancy goldies, and would like to know how much and how often to feed this food to my fish.

Thanks!

Hi Naiya- I can assure you the food you have made up is fine & very nutritious for Goldfish. Several of the more experienced members on my forum use similar recipes although as I have never used it myself I can't give you any feeding instructions. I suggest if you don't hear anything else useful you ask on one of the forums below-good luck!

well you should feed about one sprinkle of it . and 2 or three times a day.
that is really bad for them, as it doesnt have the correct vitamins that comerical fish foods have. While those may be good for humans, it doesnt have what fish need.

No fish meal or alage products will not help the fish.

Go to a petstore and buy fish food.
