Question:What kind of toys keep beagle puppies amused for a long time?

Anything they can chew! My little beagle will chew anything, her current favorite toy is a doggy rope big enough for a rottweiler! (she chews the little ones up too fast!) She likes squeaky toys too, but you have to watch because they'll rip them to bits and try to eat the bits. ("drop it" is a good command to teach a beagle!) A Kong is also an excellent toy. It's a rubber cone that you stuff a cookie into, then the dog has to chew on it to break up the cookie. Beagles are smart though, even if the Kong is too big or too strong for them to bite into, they'll find a way! Mine throws it down the stairs until the cookie breaks and falls out! But still, the best thing to keep your beagle busy & happy is you. As many long walks and play sessions as you can handle!

The best toy in the world is the good cuz (or bad cuz) toy. It is a rubber squeaky ball with feet. My rotties love them...Heck everyone I have given one to tells me that there dog goes nuts over it. They come in different sizes and colors. The difference btween them is that the good cuz is smooth on top and the bad cuz has two little rubber knobs on top to look like little devil bumps. They are pretty cheap (around 3-7 dollars) and you can buy them online and at a few pet stores.
Another good toy is a wiggly giggly. But my dogs shredded it, and they are 15-20 bucks.
Anything they can attack and chew on. They really love to play and have alot of energy. Good luck.
