Why are there so many broken tile pieces laying around? Get rid of them!

no suggestions for you but that is soooo cute.

get a radio collar and zap him
Get rid of the tile piece - usually tile that is being used is attached to something. Out of sight out of mind.
I don't know the answer, but I'm imagining it and laughing. I have a friend who's dog barks at thunder. He's a big old sheep dog and it's too funny!
Give him something else to carry for a start.! Then get some training discs, which use negative reinforcement, and train him to them. They are very useful for other things too.
Your dog is so cute. I would take the tile pieces and place them where he can't see or get to them. This will eliminate the barking at them. My dogs do the same with firewood but they don't bark too long for they begin to chew it up instead.
Stop giving your dog acid tabs.
i think that you should say bad dog and yell a little so he knows that is not right or like get his favorite treat and try to move him away from the tiles. if you yell a little and pat him a little that mit work too.
i think it's really cute what he dose but i see that's a problem.
i hope these suggestion helps you
its a bit awkward as he has been allowed to carry tile pieces so telling him hes bad now is gonna kinda confuse the little fella<maybe not so little lol> but perhaps u could try doin a bit of a swap and give him something different to carry i guess its a case of how long has this been goin on?as the longer the harder its gonna be to 'swap' coz its obviously something he likes to do ..
but i agree he sounds dead cute!!
Dobies and Border Collies are the only dogs I know of that do weird stuff like this - both breeds are highly intelligent and quirky. I'd say, just remove all the tiles from his sight. I had a border collie that played with an aluminum cooking pot, took it everywhere with her and guarded it like a puppy.
cover the whole yard with tile
