Yeah you can, but I've always though that was a bad idea. If you properly housebreak your dog you won't have to worry about them going in the house, even when you're gone for long periods of time. Seems like alot of wasted time and effort to put them on the litter box.
Also, the box doesn't hide the odor for dogs as well as it does for cats, I've been to people's houses who used this system and I won't be going back.

Why would you want to?? Dogs pee outside.. Kitty cats pee inside.. Train your dog the right way, train him to go outside like real dogs do!
yes by all means if you want to then do it!! the dog wont have to wait and you dont have to worry about your floors. get DOG litter though to help with the smell. train him the same way you would outside immediately after naps, play and eating put him in the box. if you catch him sniffing put him in the box. dont let people tell you this is dumb!! some dogs dont like to go out because of the weather and its good for your dogs health not to make him wait to go out so it could have great benefits. ive seen people use this method with dogs that are unruly outside or dont like to get cold/hot or wet and it works great. theres a nursing home here with trained poodles, no one has the time to take them out but the residents love them so they are litter trained. residents take turns cleaning it and they are thrilled to have pups. just make sure you clean it good every day and scoop out the presents as much as possible. good luck!!
Yes, right after he's had his meal, carry him/her out and stand him/her in the litter box until he/her has done their business ;-)
They will quickly get used to it and they will start to do it all the time. It's best to start traning them as soon as possible ;-)
i wouldnt do that but at the pet store ive seen these potty training mats that ur dog can go pee on so they can learn not 2 go in on the carpet and stuff!!! If u do teach it 2 go in a litter box or on a mat be sure that u take it outside even though it goes 2 the bathroom inside!!
