Question:How is it possible to love my dog so much? It as if she is my child. I just can't stand it. I have had her for 11 months and I am not over it yet. I just love her to pieces. I love everything about her (even the stuff she does wrong because it is so cute and funny). Does anyone else feel this strongly about their dog?

Yes, I have felt that strongly about all my dogs. And the longer I have them the stronger the bond grows. True love will never be "over it".

Me! Me! Me! My dogs ARE my kids. I buy clothes for them and shoes and everything. I dont think I will ever stop loving my dogs the way I love them now.
I know exactly what your saying, Have ha my little love for 2 years now and I love her more everyday- it is just like she is my baby- she is the first small sized dog I have had and I often wonder if that has something to do with the baby thing- she's just my perfect little girl.
I think you must be lacking some love from humans in your life, but it is perfectly okay to substitute it with feelings for your dog. Your dog is very lucky to be loved so much.
I love my pets, but they are certainly not my children. I treat them as well as I would treat any child, but there is a difference with the feelings.
Dogs are just awesome animals with there own personality's. They are so easy to love. I do not know anyone that doesn't have strong feelings for their dogs
Absolutely. If you didnt love them to pieces you would not be a dog lover. My girls are my life. They are like the daughters I never had. I dont know what I would do if anything happened to one of them. Our newest addition gets into the trash on occasion and runs when you come in the front door and leaves my little scottie standing in the middle of a pile of trash. Now I know there is no way a scottie can reach inside a 3 foot high trash can but it looks so darn funny I just have to laugh. We also taught our Chow/lab to go get the mail and sometimes she gets so excited she gets teeth prints in everything or when we are reading it she grabs it and runs it into the other room to my husband. LOL it is just the funniest thing in the world! LOL haha
YES! My dogs are my babies and I love them just like you mentioned. I will pay anything to keep them healthy and they have better matresses to sleep on than I do!
I look at their cute little faces and I just melt. I don;t understand how people can not love dogs, because all mine have to do is look at me and I'll give them anything.
i have 2 kids (7 and 3) but i love my puppy as if it was one of my own flesh and blood. Puppy does what ever i want him to do and does not whine. =)
