Question:my dogs vet gave this to him and i donot understand what all it is for. he said just give it to her for 8 days!! please soneone tell me it is metuylpred 4mg!!

Answers:
It is a form of a steriod. It is usually given for many type of health problem including hot spots and some type of rashes. also used for many other issues in dogs.

Why did your vet prescribe this for your dog??

You spelled it incorrectly.

Call your vet and ask what it is and why she is taking it. My guess is you misspelled it and it is a form of prednisone but I would have no idea why your dog is taking it.
the right spelling is METYLPRED...it is a medication used used for its anti-inflammatory purposes, arthritis therapy and short-term treatment of respiratory diseases
I could find no information on metuylpred. Do you mean methylprednisolone? It is an anti-inflammatory steroids.
