Question:my yellow lab was born with like black dots on her tongue..i think its cute and unique, but whoever comes over and sees her is like whats wrong?? is this normal or bad? and why is it like this?

Hi there. I understand your concern, but what you are seeing is her beauty mark. Some dogs have them. My boarder collie also had some on her tongue. No its not weird. its a birthmark. beleive it or not dogs get them too. my dog had a birthmark in his eye and another inside his ear. he also had half of a blue tongue, so i thought he was part chow (and he was) so its normal
dont fret on people who dont know much about dogs. its a normal and it IS a unique thing
i dont know why it is like that, but lots of dogs have black spots on their tongue, and there is nothing wrong with the dog.
your dog is completely fine, its just genetics, but a purebred lab should technically have a purely pink mouth according to akc standards i believe
she must be mixes bread there are dogs that have black dots on there tongs
oh, it is totally normal! my friend has a dog with something like that on her tounge! i think it is cute too!
