go online to AKC in their breeder section or try your vet for a reference to a breeder as well as your local animal shelter or check out the back half of a Dog Fancy magazine and see if there are any advertised in your state or area.

A lot of groups post on a website called www.petfinder.com. You can browse by location and breed. It's a great website!
Bernese Mountain dogs are great dogs, but it's important that you're aware of their needs. They come from a very small gene pool, and are therefore prone to a number of genetic problems. Make sure you have the resources to adequately take care of this wonderful breed of dog, as they can become expensive over time. It's great to hear someone show interest in them - they really are cool dogs!
i heard they have alot of genetic health problems. i would read as much as could on the breed before i spent so much money
