"come bye & away"?

Question:I would like to use these commands in my agility trianing to go left & right but which is which?

Come by is a term for herding dogs...the best way to remember the direction is come by the clock... the direction a clock moves Away (awee- away from me) is the opposite direction or counter clockwise. So you can use come by for right and away for left.

I use Port and Starboard (sounds like starbird when I say it). I couldn't even get Gee and Haw straight. I live in Illinois' Chain of Lakes area.
