u wanna do it as soon as possible but be prepared for alot of accidents at first, be patient and never scold the pup. take the pup outside every half an hour or so and after meals, sleep and play time. when the pup does its thing outside, praise praise praise! as it gets older, the accidents will become less. some pups learn quickly and some take time but the sooner u start, the better.

When you get the puppy. When I've had puppies, this is usually around 8 weeks old. It might take some time depending on breed. Our shelties usually took a week or two until no in-house accidents. When they looked like they needed to go, we picked them up and ran them outside, to show them the proper action. Pretty effective.

As soon as they are away from their mom . be patient , and repetitive , You have to take the puppy out at least every 2 hrs , out the same door every time so they know that is the door to go to when they need to potty, It is best to put them in a crate at night and take them out first thing in the morning , Also as soon as a dog eats they need to potty . Just be patient remember they are babies and there bladders are very small,
