A large amount of salt can be used to forceably make dogs throw up. I dont know why but it just does. It could be perfectly fine but if the behavior continues over 2 hours call your vet and if it continues past the day do to the vet or the animal ER. Make sure you begin to replenish your dog's nutrients by feeding it light foods like eggs. Not too much though...just a little... Hope he feels better soon! :D
well slugs don't usually agree with dogs stomachs. Salt also is very bad for them. Its normal for him to throw up, but next time try and keep him from eating them.
btw, how did he eat a slug covered in salt, where did he find one?
He will be safe..cuz he is throwing up if he didn't than u would have to worrie but he did so dont worrie

Slugs make animals throw up. hen he gets it out of his system, he will be fine. All that slime has to go somewhere.
nothing will probably happen. if you've seen most dogs, they just eat out of trash cans. they burp and go chase stick.
check his poop. if you see that the snail makes it there, your dog will be ok.
The salt on the slug probably gave him an upset stomach. He'll be fine.
The yellow foam is due to having nothing in his stomach at the time; haven't you ever dated an anorexic? Uhm the snail has a defensive secretion that may cause the dog's stomach to sour, and vomit, but I'd guess it's a combination of the snail and the salt; especially the salt... It's strange that the french eat snails all the time, and the french give me that same reaction...to vomit! Coincidence? I think not! Anyway, try to remember what not to give your dog: salt, chocolate, or potatoes, especially salty french fries! (that's not meant to be as funny, as the french making me vomit!).
