Dog issues?

Question:how can i persuade my mom to buy a bull terrier i want one but she thinks their ugly!

Answers:
mom makes the rules. She probably wants to find a breed that best fits your family's lifestyle. Or maybe she doesnt want to buy a dog at all?

If she is looking to get a dog, show her reasons why a bull terrier would be a great addition to the family.. find things about the breed that makes it a good match. Read up on the bad things about the breed, and see if they are something your family can deal with.

Honestly, when I first heard about Chinese Cresteds, I would have never imagined owning one! They sounded like such and odd, alien-looking breed. Now I cant live without one!

show her a baby one those r the cutest
If it's your mom who is doing the buying, I am thinking she should have a LOT to say as to what kind of dog SHE purchases. This is especially true of Bull Terriers as they are not cheap. When you're the one doing the buying, you can pick out the dog you want.
Yes, like the person above stated, show your mother a baby picture of that breed.
When you're trying to persuade your mom to buy you that dog, and obviously she isn't quite persuaded enough yet, take her further away from concentrating on the looks of the dog.
Go research about that dog either on the internet or on dog books, and tell her all the good particular traits it has. It would also be good if you compare that dog's "fine traits" with another dogs.
This way, I'm sure she'll agree with you.
show her the info on them at http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/bullterrier.
also show her cute pics of puppies you can google bull terrier puppies or go to a breeders website . perhaps make a compromise on what type of dog to get
good luck!
I think that you both need to be ready for the dog. I know you think you'll take care of it but most kids end up leaving all the work to their parents after they promised otherwise. Sit down and talk with your mom about what characteristics you want in a dog and how much work you're willing to put into it. Also consider how long the dog will live. If you're a teenager, you might be going off to college soon. You won't be able to take your dog with you and that leaves it up to mom. It's her decision, you should respect that.
The only solution I can think of, is that to be fair, all of you must
compromise on a dog that everyone will feel comfortable
with as the family dog. Since your parents will most likely be
paying for a dogs license, vet bills, vaccinations and food and
flea products, etc., they have some say so in the decision.
Maybe you could compromise on a Pug, they are cute when
they are small. But they still have the big bulgy eyes when
they are grown. I know, since our daughter has one. And we
dog sat him last week. Hard to believe it's the same dog now.
I know that Pugs have a tendency to gain weight without
enough excercise. So you might have that same problem
with the dog you all decide upon. So you have to remember,
when you are in school and your parents are at work, how
much exercise will your dog get when it's alone? You'll have
to walk it everyday after school without fail and give it fresh
water. Because if he's just in the house all day, and no exer-
cise when you come home, it will gain weight and then de-
velop health problems you would want to avoid.
So see which other dogs might appeal to you and your parents by Googling dog breeds online. And then by process of elimination, which need the least amount of grooming care
and other considerations. And maybe then you'll come up with
one the entire family will love.
