it depends on where u live when i lived in philadelphia at 16 i went to go and get a job and the company (grocery store) asked for a school work pass which you get from your school basically saying that you have good grades and are capable of working and still able to keep up with your school work. Talk to your school. Also try to talk with one of the managers at one of the companies that you want to work for they will tell you the state laws and what you need to do./
