I have tried natural cures you might try some of these..less harm to your dog. One is feeding your dog fresh garlicfleas and ticks don't like it. Also wash bedding and sprinkle w/lavander oil.

Are you aware that there are dogs in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought.What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.
I like to use revolution, it kills flea's, and ticks, and protects them from heart worms. Before starting them on this you need to have the dog tested for heart worms first. Good luck.
I use frontline on my dog and haven't had any problems. We live in a wooded area.
Note to Zeratul above: I think the reference was to ticks as in little flat parasitic arachnids that attach themselves to dogs and suck blood, not ticks as in a medical condition that causes the facial skin to twitch.
I use an otc called Bio Spot. I haven't seen a flea or a tick in over 10 years. I have 3 dogs and I also do rescue.
