7 month Shi Tsu vomiting yellow bile 3 days in a row.?

Question:First off I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow morning. Every so often she would vomit yellow bile in the morning. It seemed to happen when she didn't eat enough the night before. So we thought it was caused by an empty tummy. Now she has vomited 3 times in 3 days. 2 times in the morning and today in the afternoon. On top of that, she finished her first heat 3 weeks ago and seems to be having a false pregnancy. Her energy level is low, her appitite is not large. Needless to say I'm worried about her. I just don't know if there is something else wrong or is her crazy hormoney causing this?

I wanted to know what you thoughts were abot possible causes before I take her to the vet tomorrow. Anything I should ask him?

Thanks!!

Answers:
Vomiting up bile regularly or for days in a row is not normal.
The sooner you get her to the vet, the better.

My maltese does that sometimes. I think it is mucous. It only happens when he has an empty stomach.
Good luck, hope she's OK.
my shih tzu did the same thing at that age...but she loved to chew sticks, tree limbs, etc. I think it made her sick at her stomach. You can take a dog off food for 24 hours according to the vet...so you might try that////always offer water !!

hope she gets better!1
aren't shih tzus the sweetest babies in the world!!
If she is vomiting bile, withhold all food till you get to a vet. She is very sick at this point and should have gone sooner I think. Be sure to offer water, but no more food. Give her system a rest and vet ASAP. Does not sound hormonal at all.
it could be the food the dog is eating but i dont realy know good luck and its a good thing u are taking the dog to the vet=)
It could be her food, she might have a sensitive stomach. This happened to my maltese the first year I got him, I kept him on the food the breeder gave me and it made him sick. I changed his food to the food I gave my other maltese for sensitive stomachs and he has not done so since. He was first on Nutro Max and that made him sick I now have him on Science Diet. I hope this helps, hope she feels better.
There are still problems with contaminated dog food. Try to get a urine sample before you go to the vet. They can check that quickly to test for renal problems. Good Luck!
ok, you're right..yellow bile almost always means the stomach is empty, and the bile accumulating in the stomach is irritating. It's fairly common for dogs to vomit yellow bile in the mornings, and a late meal or snack usually helps, even a couple of treats right at bedtime. Depending on when she does eat vomiting in the daytime wouldn't be weird either...

i'd bet you're going to want to go to more frequent feedings. The false pregnancy is probably an entirely separate issue, although hormonal changes could increase stomach irritation.
