Question:When a puppy is born it seems impossible to judge the length of its coat. How early and how can you judge this?

i agree with retrokitty. we got my chi when she was 6 weeks and her hair didn't grow any longer after that. she has longhair in her bloodline looks like a shorthair

usually about a month old. Most long hair chi's will have longer hair in the ears also around the tail.
