Question:I was playing ball with my dog and when we were done he jumped up on the porch to get a drink. After he was done I noticed a dead daddy long leg in his water. Did it spread poison throughout the whole water bowl and is my dog gonna be OK?
P.S. for those of who don't know, Yes daddy long legs are extremely poisonousness...
Answers:
Yeah they are poisonous but your dog will be fine. The spider dont have enough to hurt people or dogs just smaller animals like squirls and mice so your dog will be just fine.
He is fine. Dogs and cats eat bugs all the time. Our cat likes to catch and eat the daddy longlegs in our basement, and she has never appeared ill.
NO, they are not extremely poisonous, where did you get your info?
Your dog will be fine.
Watch your dog closely for signs of trouble, such as his legs growing longer.
If he lived this long, he's pobably immune to spiders now.
For those who don't know:
Daddy long legs are not poisonous. This is a myth or a hoax.

I believe these experts, not your statement.
Starting with that, I can assure you that the acid in the dog's stomach is so strong that there is little that can cause the dog problems that might be in the dog's water bowl.
You'd puke if you saw what dogs drink outside when you're not watching. You'd puke if you saw my watering trought for my cows that my dog drink from, and even my dogs' watering dish. And my dogs are fine and very healthy.
Your dog is fine. Someone grossly misinformed you about the daddy-long-legs.
btw: there are 2 D-L-L's ... one is not a spider; the other is.
