Question:Like if their dog or animal is sick or hurt, common sence tells you take them to a vet, we go our Dr. when we are hurt or do not feel well, it is so stupid of some people, not all, but some of these questions, makes me wonder, why some peole have pets.

I have no idea why people ask stupid things on here about their pets. You would think common sense would tell them to take their pet to the vet instead of asking a question while it lays in misery on the floor.
considering the time of day and the fact that school is out I'm gonna say because of the age group of most of the people on here..
because some people dont really see their animal as a member of the family. they think hmm i could go to the vet and spend a ton of money to get my animal healthy again. or i could go on Qeok.com and see if i could find some cheap home remedy that will cure them. i know people that dont appreciate the value of an animal or how much they love u. my grandparents told me to go shoot my dog instead of having an expensive surgery done. if u truley love ur animal u would do anything to get them better. not delay it by asking a question to see if there is an at home treatment.
Yes, but thank goodness there is a place people can ask.
Pets don't come with instructions and many people don't have that much common sense or knowledge about animals.
What I can't get over is the number of times the same questions are asked on a daily basis by different people.
Well, according to one gentleman because they are allowed to ask anything they want, and we are supposed to be nice and answer them. Even if they are idiotic, even if they scream trolling, even if the people who ask do not want aswers based on the truth, but a validation of their opinion. Have a nice day.
Trust me, i just asked kind of the same question except mine was.. Why do they ask you to name their dogs? Come on.. Who cares if ya call him Sh*t head? LOL.. Sorry..

Because they have a question stupid or not. They ask because they are cheap and either don't want to or can't get to a vet. Because if they took their dog to the vet they may be charged with animal abuse.
It can run the whole gambit of reasons! Some are kids who are bored and think up the the most horrid of questions just to get a rise out of people.
I agree it is stupid but what can we do? We sit at our computers and shake our heads and do the best we can for those who really need our help.
NOTE: Common sence doesn't exsit on YA dogs! If it did 80% of the questions would not be asked at all.
because they don't want to be embarassed by the vet. and a lot of people don't go to doctors.

and people keep pets cuz sometimes its good to have someone ( or something in such case ) that u can about ... and some responsibelity isn't bad so CHILL OUT
so they dont feel stupid if its just bad gas.
My point exactly.. Are these people really saving these pets from the shelters, IF they are refusing their pets proper vet care? Allowing them to suffer?? I don't think so.. I think it's abuse and neglect to withhold proper vet care.

I know just what you mean. Some people evidently don't have anything substantive going on in their lives. I look at some of the questions and wonder how can grown a** people ask some stupid questions. I guess some people just have very little brain power.
