well if he or she is suffering yes! and can not be helped. i had to put my lab down and let me tell ya it hurts. and when all was said and done my only regret was not doing it sooner ! i think it was selfish of me to make him Waite just so i could handle it. i went over and over in my head , if it was morally correct or not. but i think it was good luck.:)

It all depends if the sickness was curable, I'd fix it if not then I would have my pet euthanized at the vets.
I think I might have them put to sleep before I buried them, though, if that is your decision.
I would put it to sleep cause it is sad to watch a dog day after day.And it is cruel to the dog.but if you could cure it i would try toget the dog better as soon as possible.
hurry up and beat it to death. put it out of it's misery.
i cant ever think of that cause i love my dog and i could never even picture my baby dead.
if my dog was sick and there wasn't any that would help him i would put him to sleep . i have all my pets cremated and have their ashes returned it gives me peace knowing that they are still with me , but just in a different form.
Depends on how sick they are.I would never let an animal suffer. If their quality of life is very poor,I would not let it suffer anymore and do the humane thing by putting it down.If it is only suffering alittle, ask your vet what is available to make it more comfortable-explore all your options.
you should take it to the vet and see if there is a cure . if there isn't
ask them to put it to sleep.
:(
If my dog is sick, I take him to the vet. I ask the vet to fix him.
Euthanasia (medically putting him out of his misery) would be the very last resort.
Don't bury it alive, have it put to sleep. Only if the illness will not go away and it will be impossible for the dog to live a normal pain free life.
I think it's more difficult to watch them suffer than to let them go in peace
burrie em sounds like mighty drastic treatment of an undiagnosed problem?Try putting yourself in the dogs place and you may not need to ask the question.
I would do the legal and morally right thing. Which is to take the dog to a vet to receive proper medical attention. If he/she had something terminal then I would make them as comfortable as possible for what little time they had left. Then when they started showing signs of pain I would have them euthanized.
i dont kno. first of all it depends on the sickness. if ur considering this and ur dog is sick, then talk to ur vet, ask them what his chances are and what can be done to make him/her feel better without going to that extreme
take it to the vet stupid!
If it suffering from something curable I would take them to the vet and get them fixed up. If the dog is suffering from something that can't be cured and has a poor quality of life (can't eat, not happy, etc.) then I would have it put to sleep.
Ask yourself if you would put down your parents or would you want to be put down -- take the dog to the vet and fiond a way to make him/her comfortable...my first dog lived 21 years and was comfortable b/c I went the extra yard to make her so...it was not expensive, just time consuming and I never regrested a second of carrying her and feeding her with a syringe and putting fluids in her through her back...my current lab had mast cell cancer last year and they toldme I should put her down -- two surgeries and six months of chemo later and she is acting like a 3 year old puppy...I never regretted a penny I spent on her. They may be in pain but you can fix that -- the only "misery" is yours...look in the mirror, understand who you are and be there for your friend.
