You're dog ate a firework?!And you're asking if it will be ok?
No offense but you are most definitely crazy. Those things have very bad chemicals in them.Take your dog to the vet ASAP!

Other Answers:
u should take him to the doctor to be x-rayed just to be sure.

well the contents (explosives, magnesium etc) aint the tastiest and Im sure they wont be good upon digestion!
As long as he doesn't swallow a lit match he'll be ok.

I would take him to a vet just to make sure
i dont think he'll explode but u really should go to the vet and have them check it out
did he eat it after you lit it (in snake form) or before (in puck form) and what breed is your dog?
honestly, either way, he will be fine. it's not good for him, but it's not going to do anything except *possibly* cause a bit of stomach upset.
watch him closely ... if he seems restless or won't eat, then take him to the vet. i imagine he will probably pass it (if he hasn't already) and it won't be an issue.
especially if it's one that's already burned ... the "snake" it leaves behind is just ash, and it dissolves when wet.
oh and he won't "explode" - that type of firework doesn't explode ... and it would need some form of combustion to light ... and the insides of your dog don't provide the right setting for lighting fireworks.
If you're absolutely positive it was just a black snake firework, I wouldn't be too worried right now. YES the black snake is made to increase is size, or swell up, but it takes a tremendous amount of heat to activate the black snake so chances are slim it will swell in his stomach.

Just keep your eyes peeled for signs of discomfort. Vomitting, diarhea, lethargy, nausea, refusal to eat, fowl smelling urine, constipation, yadayadayada. Anything that's out of the ordinary for him.

You just need to be cautious with everything because you don't know how his stomach is reacting to the snake. Make sure he has plenty of fresh water 24/7. He should be able to pass it normally in a couple days.
