the only way you will more than likely get a free purebred anything is if you get one from a friend. you cant even get a mutt at the humane society for free, most rate at 75.

If you want a purebred Yorkie, it's hard to find one for free. Purebreds can cost up to 700 dollars.

how are you going to afford vaccinations? grooming? spaying or neutering? emergency vet care? deworming? good quality food? toys? treats? obedience lessons? city license? etc..
Call a breeder and explain the situation, you really want one for a pet only; not to show, or breed and that you can't afford one. Sometimes breeders will be willing to give one away that is not show quality if you prove you really are only after a pet and not a show dog or a breeding dog. They may be willing to give you one after a certain amount of time and the puppies are not selling fast enough. A breeder was kind enough to do this for my son when he really wanted a Beagle and we just could not afford it. I assured her we only wanted it for a pet and agreed not to register it, show it, or breed it. She was very gracious and even let my son pick out which one he wanted. I will always be very grateful to her. My son enjoys his pet to this day. It is always worth a try. Be honest and sincere.
