Question:I have one dog (a shiz tzu) and i love him but i want a chihuaha too. PLZ give me sites for cheap chihuahas and way to convince my parents
Answers:
Tell them, "dogs are my ANTI-DRUG!"
tell them you would be responsible, and take care of it and show them tht you're trustworthy.
No! They know what they are capable of handling - financially and emotionally.
no such thing as a cheap chihuahua
You should be responsible in order to get a 2nd dog.. Being responsible is learning about the breed, and knowing that you should research and find a quality breeder, or be rescuing one from a shelter or breed rescue.. It is NOT by looking for the cheapest dog possible..
Well being that you said "cheap" chihuahuas I say you have no business getting another dog. Are YOU going to buy it? Are YOU going to pay its vet bills? Are YOU going to buy quality food, flea preventative, toys, bowls all the other things a dog needs? Well the answer is an obvious no so wait until you're older and out on your own if you want another dog.
Chihuha's are not cheap unless you can find one to adopt, also not all get along with other dogs. I would adopting one would be the best answer but you will have to make sure that it is very socialized. Try www.petfinder.com you can browse all of your local shelters and even have them bring the dog you are looking at to your house to see if he would fit into your family. Good Luck. I begged my parents for a Chihuaha for like 2 years and never got one! But now I live on my own and so I got my very own sweet puppy but I chose not to get a Chihuaha because they were like $600. Don't buy from a pet store because they usually get their puppies from puppy mills and those are bad news!
No. If your parents say no then no! maybe they can't afford it or they don't want you to have another dog. you have 1 so why do you want another?
Tell them that you will get a job to buy the dog, and keep the job so that you can pay for its food, training, grooming, and vet bills. Tell them that you will be the one to train it, exercise it, feed it, and let it outside.
i dont think your parents will let you there are to hard to handle!
good luck!
You should consider rescuing one from www.PetFinder.com. Let them know that you would be saving a dog.
hi, ask your parents truthfully what does it take for you to have another dog (chihuahua). Hear your parents out, they may have good reasons if they are not approving you to have another dog. Then work at your parent's concerns and alleviate them, so they are OK with you having another dog.
Do a search on google.com for dog shelter at your area. Adopting a pet is the best way to go instead of buying.
All the best!
Think about adopting. Go to your local petco or even the pound. They are much much cheaper. As for your parents, well it's there house and there rules so keep that in mind. Maybe make a deal with them. And make sure you REALLY want another dog. When you only have 1 at first and then you bring another dog in it is not as easy as you think. So really think about it!
If you are the one that is responsible for the current dog, they should have no problem with letting you purchase another dog. Are you the one cleaning up after it, walking it, feeding it, vet bills, flea medicine? Is your house big enough to handle two dogs running around? Think about the answer to these questions and if you have good answers then I would present them to your parents and see what they say. I don't know of a website where you could purchase them, try typing in the breed on google.com and you may come up with something.
go to mexico or el paso. cheapest place on earth for good dogs
You could look up the nearest Chihuahua rescue group. They are an animal rescue group that focuses only on chihuahuas so it shouldnt cost to much to adopt one. Your parents might like the idea of you getting a chi if they know you are saving it from being put to sleep.
if you have the $ for all the vet bills this animal will have through its' life that would be the best answer
To quote an old song - "love the one your with"
In other words enjoy the dog you have and do things with that dog. Train it, teach it tricks, . . .
By they way that also show your parents that you are responsible.
sry but your parents r right. u don't know if the other dog will get jealous and start to bite so take ur dog to play with other dogs and the cost will go way up w/ feeding it and other expenses
