A beagle in canada?

Question:hi I have a beagle that right now is 4 months in about a year my husband and i want to move to Canada (Toronto, Ottawa or winnipeg not sure yet) in about a year will my dog stand the cold even if he is in indoor dog ?

Answers:
We just went up to Canada and picked up a Canadian Champion to breed to one of our female Beagles, so it is safe to say that yours will have plenty of Beagle company when you get there.

BTW I frequently hunt snowshoe hares in sub zero temperatures with my Beagles.

o he should be fine! just make sure he has a lot of blankets at night when he sleeps and get him a fuzzy, warm puppy bed! he should be just fine!!
i dont know..
beagles have thin coats
Sure, as long as you don't leave him outside the whole time, and heat the inside of the house...
Given that there's already thousands of beagles in Canada and they're all just fine, I'm sure yours will be, too. (They do make sweaters for dogs that need them, although my son's beagle has never needed one and he's very active in winter as well as summer.)
What is the problem if you keep her indoors?
Put a coat or sweater on her when you walk her and don't do it for long when it is very cold.
