Question:I wanna adopt a dog today or tomorrow, right now
is the best time possible for getting a dog but I have
to go to a wedding for 3 days in about a month.
I dont know what to do while we are gone?
I dont really wana leave him at a shelter since
he just came from one, any help?

You can bring him on a dog daycare. Those places are fun for dogs and somewhat help them with their socialization skills. Thanks for considering adopting dogs. Ours are adopted too and we love them so much! =)
Would any of your friends or family be able to take care of it for those three days?
I left for about two days on a trip and I had my sister take care of my dog.
You could hire a pet sitter. Or take him to a doggy spa (board) They never seem like shelters, they are very luxurious.
You absolutely can't wait until after the wedding to get a dog? Most kennels have an age requirement before they'll allow you to even board a dog there and they have to be up to date on all their shots. Also most dogs get sick at a kennel (Nothing serious, just sick stomachs) and being kept in crate with no formal crate training is going to really hurt your training methods when you get back.
Can you leave him with a family member or friend for that three days? I mean a really good friend who'll let an animal crap in his house for a weekend?
A friend? Maybe look for a pet friendly hotel, like Howard Johnson's, near where you are going to the wedding, and take it along? Look into good dog sitters in your area, where the dog is kept amused, not just housed in a cage, there's usually a few around where you find good people in charge. Good luck with the new pet.
You should just wait until you get back from the wedding. If you can't wait that long, if you live by a doggie hotel maybe they will comfort your dog. If you live in Las Vegas, Nevada, there is a doggie hotel by my mom's job, and kinda near the strip. Thanks for listening!
