Question:Here is the question. He loves to get his paws in his drinking water, plays and splashes then he turns in circles like 3 x's and does this repeatedly untill he gets tired, m-t's his water dish, or I shut the door to the bathroom where he will jump in the tub to get his water. ( we put the water in a crock in the bathroom tub so he cant tip the water over and play in it).

My 6week eskie does the same thing. I agree, get him a kiddie pool. I let mine swim in the swimming pool and he loves it. Maybe you live somewhere where it is really hot and he just likes splashing around because it cools him off? If he continues to splash around in his water bowl, maybe you can put a plastic placemat underneath the crock.
wow u bought an eskimo is that not against the law bc they r ppl
I am impressed!
My American Eskimo will tip toe through the grass when it is wet, because she does not want to get her paws wet! She hates getting wet! but does behave when I give her a bath. Because of her actions, I figured her breed was a prissy breed LOL always have to be pretty and clean.
I would get him a plastic kiddie pool to play in the back yard-- puts the mess outside instead of in! My Border Collies love playing in the kiddie pool and chasing the hose. For the dish, try getting a super jumbo dish and putting a huge (cleaned- they'll go through the dishwasher!) rock in the middle (so he can still drink around it), or get a stainless steel one gallon bucket. As long as it's kept full, it should be a little too heavy to dump unless your dog is REALLY determined. These measures have stopped my "water collies" from dumping the dishes.
Sounds like you need to excercise your dog more often. He needs 3 45 minutes walks daily, if not a little more. Plus additional play time. If this doesn't help, then get a kiddy pool to put in the backyard, and let that be the ONLY water play. Discipline if he jumps in the tub etc.
