Question:I cook eggs(fry them with corn oil) and I add white rice with it. I just simply mix it all up and my dog really loves it he would lick the bowl dry after he's done eating. Sometimes I add in a special treat like meat(pork, beef, chicken) in it too. Is this good for his health?

i'd only give it to him 3 times a week or every other day. it isn't poisonous but it could end up making him fat (no offense).
Talk to your Vet about the dogs' diet then you will know for certain
The food itself is probably very good for your dog. You must watch the amount you feed it. Try to keep him at a normal weight by monitoring the input.
yes but dont give him chocolate that would be toxic for him
Calcium is missing and is vital to your dog's health. Frying is never a good idea especially in corn oil. Although eggs are a good food choice they do not offer all vitamins and minerals. I would include cooked vegetables (not raw as dog's can not digest them unless processed). I would seriously invest in a good canine nutrition book (not a pop culture book) Dr. Pitcarin and Dr. Strombeck both have good ones with recipes. This is unbalanced for use all the time.
Sadly no this isn't a good diet.
Change the white rice for brown rice, only feed whole grains.
Feed whole eggs, shell included, don't fry them in anything. I like boiled eggs when I feed egg to my dog.
Try doing some research but without knowing anything about the dog you need to feeding the right amount of food for him. I use www.nutritiondata.com to understand the value of each food and this e-book will explain the minimum needs of a dog. http://books.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_...
Basically you will need to feed more then just meat and rice. If you would like some recipes please email me. I feed my dogs a whole food diet.
Not really. Dog foods are formulated with all the special vitamins and minerals that a dog needs. If you're only feeding him this, then he's probably very deficient in some nutrients.
