Question:Can female budgies learn to repeat words?
Answers:
Both males AND females may learn to talk, it all depends on the bird's personality and your diligence to teach her. It is true that males are the more vocal gender, but if you sit down every down with your bird and repeat certain words and phrases over and over again your bird might learn to talk. Don't get your hopes up too much though, it all depends on the individual bird.
mine did she would only say hi and bye though
No, they won't talk, only the males learn how.
no they wont talk words, only sing like a parakeet, sometimes but very seldom you can get a male who will talk but it takes alot repeated words and close listening.
they can only say pretty and bitty and itty they know these from when they were born. thats all they can learn
trust me teach her those and she will say it fast
Yes, some can learn, but the males are usually better talkers. Don't get your hopes up.
nope, just males.
jk, yes they can, but dont expect too much, and definitely dont make that the deciding factor of you getting one.
The male has a better chance of speaking, it is harder for the female to learn
Yes. Just repeat a phrase over and over in the same tone by the same person(preferably a child or woman since birds have trouble copying men's voices. Although they are less likely to be as enthusiastic about it.
Yes. Whilst males are the better talkers, females CAN talk but tend to be less vocal. The key to teaching a budgie to talk is to have the budgie think it's part of the "human flock", and therefore that it needs to communicate with its human friends. If you have a mirror in the cage, or other budgies, it will see budgies around it and want to talk like them (i.e. chirp). So have your young budgie on its own, surrounded by humans that talk to it...
Budgies are good. They can speak a quite handful of words.
But be careful wat u teach it Lol! but they can definetly talk and mimic so keep up the handtaming!
