Question:does anyone know at what week (approximately) does an african grey start to change eye color? it is just 3 months old.
also i have a pet cockatiel she is out of her cage all the time (exscept at night. i put her in the cage to sleep.) well anyways is it normal for my african grey to copy the sound that she makes? and also at what age can or do they start to speak words. and one last thing... IF you can, can you answer in spanish. im just telling u this cus my mom does not know english and she wants to read the answers. well anyways thanks.

african greys' eye color starts to change at 6 months, it starts to lighten. at one and a half to two years old, eye color gets pale grey and by the time they're three years old, the iris is light yellow. an african grey is about the smartest parrot there is (it has the mental capacity of a 5 year old child) so they start talking by imitating anything they hear. they start speaking at about two years but depending on how much you talk to it, it may learn faster.

Creo que lo de cambio de color es contestado previamente. Este especia de pajaro es uno de los que gusta copiar qualquier sonido que oye frequentamente. La mayoridad de pariqos inteligente son asi- especialmente si no apendan hablar como personas.
