Can i put a 17 week old chicken with a 15 week old chicken and they not fight it out?

Question:

Answers:
Seen as your chickens are young they wont fight much.
Once first introduced they may peck each other a bit to see who is the stronger, this is called the pecking order. Within a few days they will be friends.
But they won't hurt each other, your introducing them at a good age.
But if they are roosters they will probley always fight
Goodluck
=)

Two strange chickens will always fight at first. the length of time they fight is determined by several factors, put both of them in a strange place where neither of them have ben before will help but some fighting is inevitable.
a lot depends on how much space you provide them with. Cramped quarters guarantee picking and fighting behaviours. Gender makes a difference too.
With a life span of potentially 15 years your poultry are just youngsters yet as well.
If you introduce them on neutral territory and distract them by feeding them this will increase your chances of them getting along.
Well, they are close in age, so that won't be much of an issue. But with any animal, there's bound to be territorial issues when a new animal is introduced.

Just keep an eye on them when you first put them together. If it seems like things are going okay, it most likely will be. But if they begin to peck at each other and such, just continue to keep an eye on them so that they won't harm each other too bad. But keep in mind that chickens have pecking orders and that one may just be asserting its place.

Key is, it's just going to take some time for them to get used to it all.

Good luck!
