Depends on what species your love birds are?
Peachface ,are very aggressive toward newcomers and will attack without any mercy even to the extent of killing newcomers! but this is the trend of most of the Lovebird species I found that the Abbysinian were more tolerant, keep them in seperate cages next toeach other for at least 3 weeks till the grow accustomed to each other but beware if there are more hens than males

good luck mine still scabble put cages together for a few weeks where they can sit by each other also i fixed so cages where hooked togerther so they could go in out to there own cage then a few months later togther make sure hang toys on both sides for each
Yeah, it should be okay, we put three Love Birds in a one bird cage.
Get them used to each other first and then put them in a brand new cage, not a cage thats belonged to a single lovebird. They can feel protective of there home and fight. Your gonna have fights no matter what tho, Mine still pick at each other, so I put them back in their own cages.
not all lovebirds will react the same, i tried it and they almost killed each other.

you must have a pair or one only if you want them to be happy otherwise they will fight to the death
