Question:Help Need to Find good home for a blue fronted amazon parrot?
Need to find a loving home for a blue fronted amazon parrot. Billy has not had any human interaction for about 10 years. He has been neglected left without food and water. Have been taking care of him until I find a home. He does tend to snap and will attempt to bite. You could train him not to do so. Just takes time and PATIENCE. (needs companionship)

You're not going to find a loving home here. You have no idea who you're giving this beautiful bird away to.
where is that? im in easton pa. i would love to give him a home. we are animal lovers. although i do agree with the first answerer, you have to be careful who you give animals to. lots of mean people. i have 5 parakeets, i dog, and 1 hamster. please e-mail me.
East Coast Exotic Animal Rescue was formerly the Gettysburg Game Park, located at 320 Zoo Road, Fairfield, PA 17320, 9 miles southwest of Gettysburg, PA. off of Route 116. Maybe they can help you, or talk with a local vet or animal rescue to see if there is an aviary rescue group that will help you find the right home for this beautiful type of bird. Good luck! Every domesticated animal/bird deserves a home with someone caring for it. You are doing a kind thing.
can you take him to a humane socitey? they will take good care of him.
I know of a rescue who will gladly take him. email me!
The first thing you need to do is search petfinder.com for bird rescues in your area. It is likely there is one within 50 to 100 miles of you. Do not give this bird to someone you find on the internet. It could be used for breeding without you knowledge which would be bad due to the possibility of passing on its behavioral problems. I also do not recommend the humane society as they usually have little experience with birds.
