Most birds LOVE baked potatoes! Just keep it in very small amounts and on rare occassions as a treat. Most things are ok for them as long as it's in moderation. Our birds love most veggies, fruit, potatoes, pasta, meat, almost anything we eat. We just keep it in moderation. Oh, give them their bite prior to adding butter or salt or anything like that.
Baked potato is fine as long as it has no fat (oil) put on it for baking.
yes, just be sure they have been cooled off. you might also try giving them orange slices, which they really seem to love.
just introduce new food items in small quantities so your bird doesn't freak out (due to the visual.) many birds get quite dramatic in the sight of something new and can be hesitant to approach a "cage invader."
