Can I cage a senegal and a conure together?

Question:The conure is 6 months old and the senegal is 3 months old. I would like to get both of them but I am not sure if they will get along. I have a small aviary.

Answers:
Well, you have to take it slowly. You can't just stick them both in a cage when they don't know eachother and expect them to get along. You first have to put the two cages next to eachother, and you have to introduce them whilst they are outside of their cages. If they seem to get along, eventually you can try putting them in the same cage-but at first oyu need to keep a veerrryy close eye on them. A 'small' aviary may not be big enough. You will need a very big cage for them or they won't get along.

no because they will start fighting with one other
NONONONONONO its a reallly bad idea to cage to different birds in the same cage

They will always fight over something and it might cause toe loss or even death.

Even if their friends, dont do it. You can never trust them. Just put their 2 cage beside each other and thats it =]
well you may be asking for trouble however the most important fact you need to consider is the cage it HAS to be
A: Big enough to comfortably house both birds
B: Completely new to both birds the existing cages will NOT DO AT ALL because they are territorial creatures and each birds cage is territory so if you place one in the others cage a land war will almost certainly develop so you need a new cage which will be joint territory.

INTRODUCING A SECOND BIRD:

i think so because they are young and they can learn to like each other put them in the cage and watch there reaction to each if they start to anything bad to each other take them out
Fighting might be a problem OR not, but if they don't fight, they will bond to each other and then they will never bond to YOU. If you want a bird to be your pet, do not let him bond with another bird.
One or both of them of them would protect the other from you every time you trie to handle them which means BITING!
Decide whether you want pets or enemies.
If you want both birds as pets, keep them in seperate cages and do not put the cages next to each other
Time together, supervised, in the aviary yes is definately possible. But do not cage tehm together! Imagine having to have a cage 4 foot long, about 2 feet deep and then at least 3 feet tall, for the cage part I mean, not the stnad or anything. That is a monster cage, some for a much larger bird and even then the birds still may fight. Just buy them seperate cages and put them side beside. That way they have a stronger bond with you then each other and you will prevent injury. Some birds won't get along, I would ask whever you are getting the birds from, if from one place, then ask them to allow you to visit and have the 2 birds together. they're young and without being territorial of anything you will be able to see how they really feel around each other. You don't want either of them to be timid, nor aggressive. Curious and respectful of the other birds space is what you want to see. If they are fighting now, you can think if you still want both. Like I said some birds won't get along, period. Cage tehm seperately, and see if they get along at all now. This will make your planning of your set up much much easier on you and on them as well.
