Answers:
I am not a big fan of American cockfighting but it about time a found someone on here who likes cockfighting. I like Thai cockfighting
I am against all forms of animal fighting.
i am against any form of animal fighting also
i think all animal fighting is very very wrong and inmoral.
they are fun to watch and it's natural for them to fight on their own. why should we stop them from fighting when it's natural for them to fight? by the way, it's exciting to see them fight!
I have never been to a cockfight but I talked to someone who used to raise fighting roosters as a class project once.
It is liek the guy above me said, it is natural for them to fight, and most of the time when they fight the owners have like little pads over their spurs so they cant kill each other, it is obviious which chicken is winning without one of them having to end up dead.
PS. why is it anyone who likes somethign that the mainstreem does not aprove of has a problem? If I dont like people who buy Poodles and die them pink and blue, should I want to discuss their problems?
Dog fighing, thats a differant story, i cant suport that in anyway.
Birds trained to cockfight...that's sad. But when it happens in a barn or whatever on accident the human didn't do anything wrong. it's when the bird's toes are cut and metal spikes replacingg them, feathers on the chest plucked to show the flesh...poor things. And those birds are taught to kill so they ahve to be put down if thye don't die in a fight first. All kinds of purposely done animal fighting is awful. Sometimes humans do more harm then good.
**** fighting are the best fights there is its all about the fighting roosters
not here totally think it is wrong it is cruel
It is very natural for roosters, wild and domestic, to fight to severe injury or even death over females and rank in the peck order. I raise chickens and every year I have to end up seperating my roosters and dressing their wounds because I dont want them to kill each other. Many other fowl such as wild turkeys have also been known to fight to the death and become emaciated because of the stresses of mating.
Cockfighting has been a popular sport all around the world, and even amongst many of our founding fathers. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were both avid cockfighters. I DO beleive animals deserve respect and proper care, but billions of battery hens die young, after a long life of fatigue, mistreatment and stress every year and millions of roasters are consumed every year by the American population. In commercial egg factories, unwanted male chicks are often disposed of in cruel ways that, if they were exposed under the public eye would raise cries of outrage and disgust...So why is cockfighting such a big issue?
