Question:I think my Uncle's parrot might make this weird grunting noise, something like three times a week.
It will only do it in front of my wife when she locks herself in the garage with it.
I asked her about the grunting and she says it's the parrot but when I asked my uncle if his parrot makes weird grunting noises, he said I was a total idiot.
I keep trying to find my Uncle when it starts doing it but he's always out.

Certainly he can.. Parrots imitate what they hear or what they are taught.. Obviously it is something your Uncle does maybe when he sits down or adjusts hisself in his chair.. Might not even be aware that he is doing it.. My Eclectus sneezes just like my son he likes the sound I guess lol... He also makes guitar cord sounds my other son plays guitar so when my son starts to practice the Ekkie joins in it is hilarious he gets rather loud too.. So my answer is most definately yes..

Most parrots can copy just about any noise you make. So yes, they can grunt.
For the poster belows response. It doesnt mean that your wife is cheating on you jeez. That is just ignorant. I have a rescue bird that the last owner use to zip her purse up every morning and he now does the "zip" noise, even when I zip something up or my husband zips something up. Yes, your wife is probably triggering some noise that is causing the bird to grunt, but it doesnt mean he learned that from something she did.
It sounds like at one point that Parrot of yours was in a room wherer there was a lot of humping going on in the room and the Parrot is repeating the humping noises each time he sees that paticular person. It sounds like your wife is cheatin on you unless your wife and uncle are doing something they are not supposed to be doing, if you know what I mean. Parrots are very smart, and they only repeat things they hear alot repeatively.(LOL)
