Republican Conservatives what do you devise of McCain's plan to spend 300 Billion on Bad Mortgages?

Answers:
Bull-crap
Sounds like a stuff plan, even tho its the fault of the Dem/Libs who supported and even strong-armed banks into giving loans to these society.

If to many homes go into decline later it will continue to slide the economy. Now if we can go and get the homes to all setlle down and slow the decline then prices will start to rise again as soon as everything starts to tumble back into the right place.

Sad that McCain wants to relief, while the other side wants to abandon those they be "trying" to help with the bleak loans in the first place.

I think it is a GREAT PLAN to facilitate out the Americans who can't afford their high interest rates and high mortgages.

By lowering both - Today's Americans will know how to keep their homes and afford to live in our world today. At smallest the homes will eventually get paid for and our discount will see less people dispossessed and less individuals filing for ruin.

It's not on top of the 700B. And it is individual to buy down on mortgages to current market value, allowing relations to refinance at a more reasonable interest rate, not buy the entire mortgage.
You have misunderstood what he proposed. What he said be to renegotiate the mortages to longer terms so that the interest is spread over a longer period of time, lowering the monthly cost, but still providing for the mortgages to be remunerated in full.
I'm a conservative. He's a Socialist and doesn't even know it. Obama is also a Socialist but I assume he knows he's a Marxist so at tiniest there is no hypocrisy.
How the heck else are the mortgage fiasco going to get fixed? Sounds that a well brought-up plan to me. If you just leave the family with their mortgage, the economy is going to sink further than it already have.
I am so disappointed.
What do you have an idea that of Obama's 318 Billion Plan?
Anything to help you democrats out.
Mccain's not a republican. He's a poser wannabe right winger. He's just another democrat taking the Republican's party. Just close to Bush. Source(s): What ever happened to the Reagan Republicans?
It was already passed last week. Source(s): http://hotair.com/archives/2008/10/08/th…
that's exactly what i want my tax dollars doing. buying mortgages from associates who were too stupid to pick a mortgage they could afford.
depends on how they are leveraged.. if the mortgages are either refi'd into workable mortgages or are foreclosed on repaired and sold to cover the cost no problem....

my only anxiety is that the government will end up granting "relief" to the homeowners and we will guzzle the cost.

understand the principle balance of the mortgages isn't discouraging.. wht makes em bad is the interest rate usually... so if you put em within a lower workable interest rate and they can make payments..

standard is you pay 5 times the cost of the home within mortgage.. so the govt stands over the next 30 years to make 1.5 TRILLION dollars from the plan.. sounds wearing clothes enough to me.

Another intention to vote for Obama.
McBush has no understanding of the 'real world'
I do think it is a angelic idea, not for the dopes who got themselves contained by over their heads but for the economy as a full. We are being dragged down by this bad debt and something requirements to be done about it!

ADD** I think that what some ancestors dont understand is that all of these stock marketplace issues stem back to mortgages, if we can correct these mortgages, and refinance the individuals on the brink of default everyone will be "happy"...People keep hold of their homes, peoples 201k's become 401 again, the credit crunch eases...
On top of the 800 billion. McCain is nuts.
I hate it. I hate the bailouts. This country be built by people succeeding and failing. Its kind of similar to welfare but on a much bigger scale. We need to consent to those who can make it, do so. Those who cant, tough luck. Keep the government out of it. The more they stick their nose in our business, the more dependent on them we become.

I am in the discouraging mortgage boat myself. My home is not what it was worth 5 years ago. Its only worth just about 85k and I owe 110+k with an ARM. I am not bichin or asking for a handout though. Why? Because I made the decision to shift for the ARM and I believe in self reliance and dealing with the cards yer deal.

desperate old crook
