Mortgage for discouraging credit?
Hello all. I am looking for mortgage companies or advice on how to buy a mortgage with bad credit. My credit suffered greatly because of credit cards while i was in college. My ranking is around 600 now and has be more than a little difficult to bring back up. Could someone insist on me on how to obtain a mortgage on a house for about 120,000? How much of a down settlement would be required? How much could I expect for closing costs. Are there options for those who don't enjoy a large down payment?

Depends plentifully on the area you are in. In Texas, it is getting profusely harder. You would need a big down payment and a giant interest rate. I got into my home 2 years ago with 2 months worth of escrow ($2500) but very soon it is a lot harder. Try a mortgage broker.
