Is it any worse once a mortgage costs is deferred, whether it is behind time 2 days or 2 weeks?
Answers:
It isn't in truth reported to the credit bureau until it is 30 days past due...but if you are past your grace time, you usually incure a late fee, so it does situation but it does not affect your credit.
Most companies give you a few days where on earth they do not charge a late fee.. so yes a few days would be better than weeks.. but from what I hear just 30+ days late are reported to credit..
nope. 30,60, and 90 are the big ones. try not to be late by that much.
Nope
Many mortgages have a 15-day grace extent. The payment is due on the 1st of the month, but they don't charge you a late tax until the 15th. And if you pay before it's 30 days behind time, it won't be reported to the credit bureaus.
To answer your question directly, if you have a 15-day grace time of year before a late charge is applied, then it really doesn't matter if it's 2 days or 2 weeks, as long as you win it there before the 15 days is up. And 2 weeks is merely one day less than 15 days! :)
