Is it possible to gain a mortgage if 6 years ago my credit be discouraging?

I now owe nothing to anyone but, I am have a problem because now I have no credit. It sounds resembling a feast or famine thing! I own 30% to put down but I'm still having a problem. My mortgage should be less than my rent. Suggestions.

Yeah, this is really flustrating! I work out. I would say if you had a co-signer that have good credit it would be possible. Or you just enjoy to shop around a lot and see who will give what. I have no credit and wanted to get a vehicle loan. My dealer called the usually guy but the didn't want to hold my loan. They called around and got me financing. Now I hold good credit (making payments on time) and am trying not to get ahead of myself surrounded by purchases.

I'd say shop around, find a co-signer, or work and build credit. Now would be a good time to buy but, perchance you could rent for 6 months. Open a store card and pay it off at the extremity of the month. I kept my store card open and make purchases on it ocassionally to hang on to it active and pay it sour at end of the month. This builds credit. It takes longer but, possibly it will help you gain credit.
